Weekly Newsletter for December 16-20, 2019

            We will take our test on our story, “A Big Fish for Max,” tomorrow, December 17^th.  The high frequency words for this story are:  said, want, good, catch, no, and put.  

Our focus phonics skills are digraphs –sh and –th and the vowel sound in ball, a, al.  Our spelling words are: fish, then, shut, with, rush, shell, shop, trash, thin and ship.  Our challenge words are “want” and “good.”   The spelling test on these words will also be tomorrow, December 17^th! 

In Math, we will review word problems and creating our number sentences!  Our test on Unit 3 will be on Wednesday, December 18^th. 

            We will celebrate our December PBIS reward on Friday, December 20^th.  Students are permitted to wear school appropriate pajamas to school!  With your permission, students are also permitted to bring in an electronic.  All electronics will be kept in their cubby until it is time for the reward.  Please be sure all games are school appropriate and have a charged battery! J

Tuesday (12/17)- Day 3- Gym 

Wednesday (12/18)- Day 4- Music *Ugly Christmas Sweater Paid Dress Day (Supports SPCA)

Thursday (12/19)- Day 5- Art 

Friday (12/20)- Non-Rotation Day! *Early Dismissal- Students will be dismissed at 12 Noon

Future Upcoming Important Dates:

*Monday (12/23)- Wednesday (1/1)- No School for Students!

*Thursday (1/2)- School reopens for Students!  It will be Day 6- Library!
