In
Reading, we will begin our next story, “Animal Park.” As a class we will talk about what we can
learn about wild animals by watching them!
We will also discuss cause and effect.
Our sight words for this story are: home, many, them and into.
Our focus phonics skills for this
story are short u and final consonant blends.
Our spelling words are: crust, bump, jump, must, just, dust, trust,
dusk, hunt, and lump. Our challenge
words are “many” and “into.”
We are beginning Unit 3 in Math! Throughout this unit, we will dig deeper into
the understanding of addition and subtraction.
We will begin with learning about fact families and doubles/ near
doubles facts!
November Reading Logs will be
collected on Friday, November 30th! Please continue to read with your child and
record the book on your log sheet! If
you fill your sheet before the end of the month, I will be happy to give your
child another one! J Thank you
