In Reading, we will continue
our story “Get the Egg!” We have had a
great time identifying wild animals that live in our neighborhood. Our sight
words for this story are: saw, tree, your and small. Our Reading test will be on Monday,
November 19th.
Our focus phonics
skills for this story are short e and initial consonant blends. The spelling words for this story are: men,
red, step, ten, net, leg, jet, sled, wet, and bed. Our challenge words are “saw” and
“your.” Our spelling Monday, November
19th.
We will take our Unit
2 Test on Addition and Subtraction tomorrow, November 14th. In Unit 3, we will dig deeper into addition
and subtraction concepts to 20.
With cold and flu season among us, we are in need of tissues and hand
sanitizer to keep those germs away! If you are willing to donate
these items to our classroom, we would really appreciate it! J
