9-13, 2019
In Reading, we will continue to
discuss what families do together! We
will also continue to work on putting a story’s details in the correct
order. The high frequency words for this
story are: said, want, good, catch, no,
and put. Our test on this story will be
early next week!
Our
focus phonics skills are digraphs –sh and –th and the vowel sound in ball, a,
al. Our spelling words are: fish, then,
shut, with, rush, shell, shop, trash, thin and ship. Our challenge words are “want” and
“good.”
In
Math, we will work on identifying the part unknown in our word problems. We will also begin to discuss subtraction,
and review using a number to help us solve!
