Week of December 18- December 22, 2017

Weekly Newsletter for December 18-22, 2017
We are completing our first story of Unit 2, “A Big Fish for Max.”  In this story, we have been discussing activities we can do together as a family!  Our test for this story will
be tomorrow, December 19th.

Our phonics skills for this story are consonant digraphs sh and th and vowel sound “al.”  Our spelling words are: fish, then, shut, with, rush, shell, shop, trash, thin, and ship.  Our challenge words are: “want” and “good.”   Our spelling test on these words will be tomorrow, December 19th

Thursday, December 21st, is our December PBIS reward day!  At the beginning of the month, students selected a reward they would like to work towards for this month.  If your child selected “Pajamas and Movie” they are permitted to wear pajamas to school that day!  They may also bring a blanket or beach towel on Thursday to sit on during the movie!

I am so excited to share that our students earned another BINGO on our TEAMWORK 100’s chart!  We will be making winter stain glass windows together for this reward! J

Just a friendly reminder, moving forward students are permitted to wear jeans or sweat pants with a Spartan shirt for dress down days.  Causal clothing is not allowed for dress down days.
