Weekly Newsletter for December
3-7, 2018
In Reading, we are continuing to
discuss what we can learn from wild animals by watching them. Throughout the story, “Animal Park” we are
identifying cause and effect.
Our focus phonics skills for this
story are short u and final consonant blends.
Our spelling words are: crust, bump, jump, must, just, dust, trust,
dusk, hunt, and lump. Our challenge
words are “many” and “into.”
This week in Math, we will continue to
work on doubles and near doubles facts.
We will also begin working on solving word problems!
December AR reading logs will be sent
home in your child’s BEE folder today!
Please continue to document your reading on your log for a Pizza Hunt
